Your cost will depend on what you choose to make - Each project is priced to reflect the price if you choose to make it in our studio, using our tiles and grout, or if you choose to buy the form only and take it with you.. The red tag indicates the price if you choose to make the piece in our studio using the tiles in the bins. Grouting is included in that price. If you choose to add on tiles from our supply area, your project price will increase. The white tag is the price if you choose to buy the form only and take it with you to make outside the studio.
Typically, a project requires at least two visits to the studio - one visit to select the project and tiles and to glue them and a second visit to grout. Your project is ready to take home the day that you grout. Or, if you wish, we'll be happy to send the grout (including instructions) home with you.
The project price includes all of your studio time - whether you need two visits or ten visits to complete your project. Please plan to finish your project within 30 days or make arrangements with the staff to extend your work time. We cannot be responsible for projects left in the studio for more than 30 days unless prior arrangements have been made.
Yes, non-wood projects can be outside - if they'll be exposed to moisture (whether inside or outside), a grout sealer should be applied prior to that exposure. If the project is to be outside, an additive should be used in the grout. In cases of prolonged extreme temperatures, the projects should be moved to an area with milder temperatures.
If you want to bring in your own project, we'll just measure the area that you want to tile and grout using the materials from the studio and the charge is 25 cents per square inch.
